How to Install & Configure VIM Editor in Linux
Step 1: Install VIM Package
Firstly, install the vim package:
For RedHat/Fedora/CentOS
# yum -y install vim vim-enhanced
For Debian/Ubuntu
# apt-get install vim
Step 2: Set the aliase
Set the aliase of vim command in /etc/profile file
# vi /etc/profile alias vi='vim'
Step 3:Configure Vim
Edit following changes in ~/.vimrc in order to configure VIM Editor
